The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Course is ideal for small, medium and large businesses to ensure their employees are able to recognise and treat a wide range of conditions creating a safer working environment.
WHO TEACHES THE COURSE?
All of our courses are led by fully qualified Doctors.
They have experience not only in teaching first aid courses but also being on the front line dealing with life threatening emergencies day in day out. As a result they are able to impart invaluable insight on how best to deal with stressful situations and thereby act effectively to save lives. YOUR FIRST AID RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN EMPLOYER
Employers are legally required to arrange for the immediate care of any staff who have an accident or become ill while they are at work.

HEALTH AND SAFETY EXECUTIVE (HSE) APPROVAL
The Health & Safety Executive no longer approves training and qualifications for the purposes of first aid at work.
However it does set certain criteria that all first aid training organisations should satisfy
1. The Qualifications of Trainers and Assessors
All of our trainers are either fully qualified Doctors or individuals who hold valid First Aid at Work Certificates
Furthermore all of our courses are led by Doctors who have invaluable experience in dealing with life threatening emergencies
2. The Qualifications of Internal Quality Assurers
All of our internal quality assurance personal hold valid First Aid at Work Certificates as well as Level 4 Awards in Internal Quality Assurance
3. The Qualifications of External Quality Assurers
In order to ensure an unbiased evaluation of our services we ask Qualsafe Awards to review our courses on an ongoing basis
4. Standards of First Aid Practice and The Syllabus
All of our courses are taught in accordance with the most recent Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2015

The Health Council (UK) Course refund policy
Health Council (UK) is able to offer a full refund for cancellations made by email more than 42 days in advance of the respective course date and a 50% refund for cancellations made between 28 to 42 days in advance of the respective course date.
